Many of you, just like me, are reading Trump’s so-called "truths" (or more accurately, his lies), and I am absolutely pissed the hell off. The nerve of this guy to twist reality and spread misinformation, all while undermining the efforts of the Ukrainian people and their fight for survival, is beyond frustrating. It’s the same pattern every time—spewing nonsense with no regard for the truth or the consequences. It’s time to call out these lies for what they are and stand up for what’s right.
Donald Trump’s recent statement on the situation in Ukraine is a staggering display of ignorance and dishonesty, one that misrepresents the realities of global diplomacy, the war in Ukraine, and the role the United States has played in supporting Ukraine’s fight for survival.
Trump’s attempt to reduce Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to a “modestly successful comedian” is an insulting dismissal of a leader who has shown exceptional courage and resilience in the face of Russia’s unprovoked aggression. Zelenskyy’s leadership has been nothing short of heroic, and for Trump to belittle him in such a manner reveals a profound lack of understanding of the situation.
Trump’s claim that Zelenskyy “refuses to have Elections” is not only unfounded, but it also misrepresents the nature of wartime governance. Under siege from Russia, Zelenskyy’s government has managed to continue functioning and protecting the interests of the Ukrainian people, all while maintaining a high level of democratic integrity despite the extreme circumstances. For Trump to brand him a “dictator” in this context is both unfair and inaccurate.
In short, Trump’s statement is not just misguided, but dangerous. It distorts the facts, undermines the heroic efforts of President Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people, and risks weakening international resolve to support Ukraine’s fight for its sovereignty and independence. If anything, it underscores why the world should not trust Trump with matters of national or international security ever again.
I will never stop holding him accountable and neither should you. Please consider joining me:
