I just increased my subscription to Founder to support your work. Trump has declared war on the people of America including his base. He knows we are the only thing standing in his way and wrongly thinks we are too divided to fight him and win. He's wrong, right?

Yes, obviously he will run again since Congressmen spend decades in office since it takes DECADES to clean up the mess of Stupublicans (and beforehand, Dixiecrats), and decades to win over generations, and since Stupublicans/Dixiecrats have messed things up since 1830 (and the southern faction of the Whigs since the 1820s), the mess will last beyond Trump: I think he will be there until 2051 when a conclave elects a monarch and the government is abolished (mind you, the Capitol will be destroyed a few years before that due to total nuclear war, during the beginning of the conclave).

I have such respect for you, for how you have conducted yourself from Day One. If we had more heros like you, Harry, we wouldn't be in this mess. For myself, I just want to thank you for inspiring me to hold on to the rollercoaster. I am 83 years old and it often doesn't seem worth it to keep living.

It's been this way at best since the Renaissance and at worst since Late Antiquity: long before Late Antiquity the Hebrews suffered repeated periods of moral decline, and beforehand the proto-Ubaid period seems to have been a age of moral decline (judging by the story of the Flood), and the Stone Age also seems to have been an age of immorality (since we have worldwide flood myths: in Buddhist mythology, we have an age of moral decline long before the Flood of Manu).

Thank you: still, since these guys were arrested, police either looked into their records, the thugs were under investigation for other crimes at the time of the Capitol riot, or investigators discovered the vandals and defacers had committed these other crimes at the time these criminals were being tracked down for the uprising.

Technically he didn't show fear, so he is just an idiot. Indeed, since many Stupublicans don't like Trump but think he is the lesser of two evils, this Stupublican may not be a Trumpanzee, but went to jail for someone he doesn't even like.

I had some MAGA bully threaten me in Costco because I was wearing a “F—— Trump” baseball cap.

I stood my ground, said nothing, and just stared at it.

Costco security dragged it out of the store.

Ahhhhhhhhh.

Stupublicans have shared these beliefs since 1905, which can be stated to be the beginning of the political realignment (Maryland became Republican), and beforehand these beliefs were shared by the Dixiecrats; they were also shared by the Know-Nothings (which helped form the Republicans), and the Know-Nothings were a revival of the Anti-Masons, who can trace their roots to the Aaron Burr Democrats of the Federalist movement, the Aaron Burr Democrats in turn being traced back to the Montagnards (hence using the term "democrat"), who can be traced back to the Rosicrucians saying "the highest form of knowledge is to know nothing" and then to the Platonists who had Sokrates say "the wisest man knows he is not wise." Sokrates seems to have traced his beliefs to Solon and then ancient Egypt (judging by "Timaeos), which possessed direct democracy in the villages where women were prominent and had god-kings who lived apart from the people but in the New Kingdom interacted with them often, a la Princess Anne.

I am a staunch progressive. Nevertheless, I urge you to read last night's article by Heather Cox Richardson, another progressive writer, who points out that Lincoln was a progressive, followed by Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower. Here's the link:

I was talking about the factions of the Republican Party which now dominate (I also should have traced the origins of the political realignment to 1872 with the conflict between the Radical and Rutherfraud Republicans), and I know Lincoln was a progressivist rightist although not a Radical Republican: Lincoln was a friend of both Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. The Lincoln Republicans are the Rockefeller Republicans like Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Milhous Nixon, and the Radical Republicans were the Moosehead Republicans who became the Log Cabin Republicans: they include the Phelps family (despite their heteronormative supremacy: the Phelps family support the policies of the Cuban regime) and Rachel Maddow.

The name "Log Cabin Republican" is not a reference to Lincoln, but can be considered inspired by him, given the alliance between the Lincoln and Radical Republicans, with Lincoln having a Team of Rivals and being the moderate in the Republican party between the progressivist and big business factions, the big business faction becoming the Rutherfraud Republicans.

I think he is angry about the 2020 election, and unfortunately I think once his legal issues are over Trump will sue the United Nations in order to overturn it, and his ally Putin and Trump's useful idiots Xi, Kim, Cuba, Maduro, any eastern European government comprising ex-communists, and any government controlled by Socialist International or the Fifth International will have the UN agree with Trump. The good news is that the organizations which work with the UN (observer states, the Knights Hospitallers, NGOs, big businesses, the Council of Unrecognized Peoples, and the leadership of Socialist, the Fifth, and National Socialist International), will condemn the results (the Internationals were not consulted per se, which is why they will condemn it), and issue a judgement that there was no mistake in the 2020 election and that Trump is an idiot.
