I’m Harry Dunn.
Four years ago, I stood at the U.S. Capitol as it was attacked by Americans who had been lied to—Americans who chose violence over democracy. I defended that building, and what it stands for, alongside brave fellow officers. We were outnumbered, outmatched, and, at times, unsure we’d survive. But we held the line.
That fight didn’t end on January 6th. It evolved. It’s happening in courtrooms, on ballots, and in the quiet normalization of extremism. That’s why I launched Standing Our Ground. Because democracy is still under attack—and I refuse to let those who incited or excused that violence rewrite history or walk away without accountability.
